Sara Spånghagen is a director, animator and illustrator based in Stockholm. Working in a range of different materials Sara has developed a unique style with lots of textures, crafted backgrounds and distinctive lines. Her film, “Margot”, has been shown in festivals such as London International Animation Festival, The Roanne animation short film festival, Mecal Pro and more.
Since graduating from Kingston School of Art 2019 with a Bachelor in Illustration Animation, Sara has gathered experience working with both educational, commercial and more experimental projects. She believes that collaboration is important and enjoys working with different types of clients, local and internationally.
